Hector's and Maui Threat Management Plan
The Department of Conservation and Fisheries New Zealand are asking for your feedback on their new Threat Management Plan for Hector’s and Māui dolphins. These animals are among our country's most endangered marine species (there are only around 15,700 Hector’s and 63 Māui left), so it’s vital that as many of us as possible contribute to this consultation to get the best possible outcome. To find out the most immediate threats to these dolphins, and how you can easily make your submission, read our simple guide to the consultation.
